Healthy Frugal Essential Food

My grocery list for the week usually includes:

A cheaper lean cut of beef that I can use in beef and noodles, stew, soups or something similar.

A vegetarian dish like lentils or beans, like to have this with a small amount of ham.

A bag of frozen chicken prepared as pot pie, soup, baked or stir fried.

Vegetables on sale, preferably fresh but sometimes canned and frozen

Fruits on sale, preferably fresh but sometimes canned and frozen

100% whole grain bread

Whole grain noodle or pasta

Brown Rice

Eggs

Milk

Yogurt

Breakfast Cereal

Coffee and creamer, a must to avoid the expense of Starbucks

Tea

Lemon for home made lemonade

Any meal that actually stretches the more expensive ingredients.

Casseroles, meals that can be cooked and frozen, meals that can be made with less expensive ingredients such as ground turkey or with smaller amounts of meat.
