Beautifying Smoothie

Makes 1 serving:

  • ¾ cup plain yogurt
  • ½ cup berries (fresh or frozen strawberries, blueberries, or other berry of your choice)
  • ½ ripe banana (option freeze bananas to give a more “frozen” consistency)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed (for healthy omega-3 fats)
  • 1 tablespoon of whey protein powder
  • 1/2 cup of pineapple juice or skim milk or water

Beautifying Salad Dressing

Makes 8 Servings

  • 1/2 c. Olive Oil
  • 1 T. Vinegar
  • 1 T. Lemon Juice
  • 1 t. Salt (optional)
  • 1/2 t. Pepper (optional)

Refrigerate remaining portions

 

Beautifying Tuna Salad

Makes 2 Servings

    • 1 can of tuna
    • 1 hard boiled egg (peeled and chopped)
    • 1 portion of celery (chopped)
    • 1 carrot (finely chopped)
    • 1 portion of celery (chopped)
    • 2 T. of Beauty Dressing (see recipe above)

Refrigerate remaining portions

 Beautifying Bean Salad

Makes 8 Servings

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 (15.5-ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 (15.5-ounce) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15.5-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Refrigerate remaining portions
